Focus On William Kentridge

Spring 2016 brought considerable attention to William Kentridge in Europe.

15 years after the conception of the project by visionary curator Kristin Jones, his spectacular “Triumphs and Laments” installation was finally completed in April and unveiled on the river Tiber in Rome, marking the beginning of a new era for Urban Art.

A few weeks later the exhibition “NO IT IS!” opened in Berlin at the Martin-Gropius-Bau, collecting some of the most amazing and diverse pieces of Kentridge’s work.

Joining the flow, ikonoTV celebrates for all the month of July 2016 the life-long work of one of the most interesting and productive artists of our times.

Enjoy a full documentation on these important events, together with precious original videos tracing his long and successful career, interviews and lectures revealing William Kentridge's fascinating art world, on ikonoTV in Streaming and On Demand.
