Elizabeth Markevitch, President and Founding Partner
Born of a passion for art and for sharing its love of art with as broad an audience as possible, Markevitch Media was founded by Elizabeth Markevitch, former head of the art advisory department of Schröder Bank; senior manager, paintings department at Sotheby’s Geneva; and co-founder in 1998 of Eyestorm.com, the first art gallery website.
Bassel Tabet, CEO
has been member of Senior Management as a Vice President at Credit Suisse Group where he spent 7 years, then director within an asset management firm as well as deputy CEO of a real estate group. Bassel has been a business angel & strategic advisor to CEO’s for 10 years; and has been a contemporary art dealer & agent. Bassel also performed 150+ concerts & managed artists & producers. Bassel holds a Master of Science in Economics from HEC Lausanne (CH) where he was a research assistant in corporate strategy and management of luxury goods; he also studied music history & business at the University of Miami (USA).
Vanina Saracino, Curator of Contemporary Art
Since 2013 she is in charge the contemporary art program on ikonoTV and is responsible of external projects with museums and institutions worldwide; in 2014, she co-founded the curatorial project OLHO in Brazil, exploring the relationship between contemporary art and cinema - shown at the MAM (Rio de Janeiro), Cinemateca Brasileira (Sao Paolo) and Palazzo Grassi's Teatrino (Venice) among other venues. With studies in Bologna, Paris, Buenos Aires and Barcelona, she holds a masters degree in Arts Management (GIOCA, Università di Bologna) and in Philosophy and Art Theory (UAB, Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona). She is an active member of the IKT, international association of curators.
David Krippendorff, Curator of Old Masters
David Krippendorff is a US/German artist, video- and experimental filmmaker born in Berlin. He grew up in Rome (Italy) and studied art at the University of Fine Arts in Berlin. His works have been shown internationally, a.o. at New Museum (New York), ICA (London), HamburgerKunsthalle (Hamburg), Museum on the Seam (Jerusalem). He has participated in four Biennials (Prague, Poznan, Tel Aviv and Belgrade). Krippendorff has been working for ikonoTV since 2013 as curator, selecting the images and overlooking the production of ikono’s signature films.
Graeme Hawkins, CFO
is a strong cross-functional finance expert with 20+ years of finance experience ranging from blue chip companies to start-ups. Graeme held senior and director level positions with The Coca-Cola Company in Commercial Finance, Controlling and Procurement, and senior strategic-finance roles in large Television and Telecoms companies. He starting his career as a Management Consultant, is a recognised Chartered Accountant and holds two degrees in Accounting and Arts (Economics) from New Zealand.
Neil Cameron, CTO
can be found hacking away at the intersection of technology, product and business. He is the founder of Twivel, a video-on-demand startup. Previously he was co-founder / CTO at a London-based digital agency, working with clients such as The Economist, BBC and Daily Telegraph. He started his career as a consultant with Accenture and holds a bachelors degree in Thai Language and Study of Religion (School of Oriental and African Studies, London) and a masters degree in The Economics of Latin America (University College London).
Elisabetta Rapetti, Project Manager ikono OnDemand
Born in Italy, currently living in Berlin, she has a diploma in Architecture obtained at Politecnico di Torino, followed by two Masters in management of culture and cultural events. Has gained a relevant experience as production manager working many years for the agency Musica90, on important music, theatre and performance festivals and large scale urban installations and events she also contributed to curate. Has been booking agent and tour manager for internationally known music bands and theatre groups through Italy and Europe. In the recent years was production manager at Club To Club, the biggest Italian electronic music festival, project manager at festival transmediale in Berlin and communication manager at Creative Mornings Turin.
Cinzia Venier, Broadcast Programming Manager
holds a master degree in Arts Management (GIOCA, University of Bologna) and a degree in Design and Organization of Arts and Cultural Events (PROGEAS, University of Florence). She has been working in the cultural sector for more than 10 years organizing and coordinating concerts, theater performances, international tours for jazz bands and classical orchestras, shootings, and festivals. In 2014 she designs and develops Passenger Music Routes, an awarded project based on the promotion of Barcelona's music heritage and scene to travelers and locals. In 2016 she collaborates with different Spanish agencies coordinating international brand activations and events.
Olga Boiocchi, Artist Liaison
After working in an investment bank at an early age, she changed to the art market and finally found her space at ikono as artist liaison, taking care of content acquisition and communication. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Russian and English - Università Cattolica di Milano, with a thesis at the Tallinn University- and a Master Degree in Cultural Management from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
studied communications design at the FH Düsseldorf and art at the HBK Brauschweig. Worked 15+ years for international film productions worldwide as a styling department manager and project manager for photo shoots. Managed trade shows appearances of international youth and lifestyle brands and designed their stands. She works at ikonoTV as a freelance project manager in the content department.

Laura Casarsa, Business Management Support
holds a degree in Economics & Management of Arts& Cultural Activities from Ca’ Foscari University and a Masters degree inArts Management from IED (European Design Institute) in Venice, Italy. She graduated with a thesis on the impact of Branding on the Contemporary Art Market. She worked in the Communications and Project Management for several cultural events and Institutions like Michela Rizzo Contemporary Art Gallery in Venice, ArtVerona and Direktorenhaus in Berlin.
Julia Schnabel, TeamAssistant
studied Media Culture at the Bauhaus University in Weimar and specialized in Media Management. She gained several years of work experience by assisting the German actress and artist Meret Becker. Since October 2016 she is responsible for uploading ikonoTV’s content, taking care of the database, organizing the back office and optimizing the workflow.
Dian Zagorchinov, Cinematographer and Editor
is a freelance cinematographer and film editor. He studied Cinematography for Film and TV at the Bulgarian National Film Academy. He works in the field of documentary and feature films, as well as in art films for international artists. He works regularly for ikonoTV creating over 300 shows as an editor or cinematographer since 2010.
Cristina Valero, Editor/Animator
studied Fine Arts at Universidad Politecnica de Valencia, Spain, focussing on Drawing and Animation. In 2003, she broadened her animation skills taking part in the European Animation Masterclass in Halle/Saale, Germany (supported by the MEDIA Programme). Since 2007, she has worked for animation studios and independent animators, collaborating in the making of children tv series, commercials and animated short films. She works at ikono as an editor and animator since 2015.
Philipp Halfmann, Editing/Postproduction
Born in Karlsruhe, currently living in Berlin. He has gained a relevant experience as editor and animator for several agencies, TV channels and production companies over the past 10 years. He held major positions in various award-winning productions. Philipp is co-founder of Hylas Film, a Berlin-based Animation Studio. Also, he is coaching the media class of Kurt-Schwitter´s Schule since 2010. At ikonoTV, he is editing and animating its signature films.
Mark Standley, Editor
has been a professional musician since the age of 18. In 1987 he co-founded Excalibur Video Productions in the UK where he worked as a director and senior editor. In 1988 Excalibur was the first independent production company to receive a commission from the BBC. In 2007 Mark edited and co-directed a documentary about Manchester band 'The Smiths' which on its release went straight to number one in the UK, USA and European DVD Charts. Mark has won numerous awards for his visual effects work on the Sci-Fi web series 'Mission Backup Earth' He was also recently nominated for the best actor award at the Bucharest Cinefest. Mark has worked at ikonoTV as a film editor since December 2014.
Anastasia Cazabon, Editor
is an American photographer and filmmaker based in Berlin. For the past 7 years, she has been a freelance video editor working for various clients such as HISTORY, Scotties Tissues, Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, Utah Museum of Natural History and Hong Kong Maritime Museum. Her own photography and films have been exhibited, published and screened internationally. She also curates and runs the film festival GRRL HAUS CINEMA in Boston Massachusetts.
Naïmé Perrette, Editor
is a French artist and filmmaker based in Amsterdam. She has completed a master in Film Animation at ENSAD (Paris) and was resident at Rijksakademie in Amsterdam in 2014-2015. Her work has been shown internationally in galleries, museums and film festivals. She works at ikonoTV as a film editor since February 2016.
Oliver Pietsch, Editor
is a German artist and filmmaker based in Berlin since 1999. He studied Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and at the UdK in Berlin. His works have been shown internationally, a.o. at Laboratorio Arte Alameda (Mexico City), Kunstmuseum Thurgau (Switzerland), MOCAK Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow (Krakow), Bergen Kjott (Norway), Škuc Gallery (Ljubljana). He has received numerous awards on video festivals. He works for ikonoTV as a freelance editor since 2016.
